Rachel Joyce has loved to draw since childhood.  When she and her family adopted a copper axolotl back in June of 2021, the kids named her “Toothless” (the family had just binged the How to Train Your Dragon series) and Rachel began to wonder whether “Toothy” might not make a good subject for a web comic.  Turns out a lot of other people like axolotls, too.

And why shouldn’t they?  They’re awesome!
